Yasmine Hamdan
As the oldest of six girls, Yasmine Salem Hamdan, can remember at an early age advocating for and defending her sisters. It was then that she knew she would practice law.
A graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law, Hamdan’s focus is serving business owners, entrepreneurs and families. Her goal is to help families navigate business and intellectual property issues to help protect their loved ones from financial uncertainty.
Raised in your average American suburb and born to Palestinian immigrants, she states growing up her mother and father taught her and her sisters that education was a tool to use to create opportunities for yourself. Through constant support from her parents and husband, Yousuf, that Hamdan was able to complete undergrad at the University of Texas at Arlington and make her way through law school.
Along with her parents, Hamdan acknowledges the inspiration she draws from Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
“Like Justice Ginsburg, I can identify with the number of obstacles she’s endured as a Jewish woman. In spite of adversity, she’s here serving on the highest court in the land.”
